Walk the streets of Rome without going to any museum, church or gallery! Enjoy local life, street artists, grab Italian street food, take photos and discover Rome to the fullest!
Our Day in Rome walking tour is a much-needed introduction to the complexity of Rome, a city which spans more than 2,500 years of culture, history, and art. This is a chance to get your bearings and make the most of your stay.
Join our very small group (maximum 8 participants) at the Pantheon where you will be met by our experienced local guide to take you through the ancient streets and learn about some of Rome’s most famous sites.
We will start with the Pantheon, a feat of ancient architecture with its original concrete dome. Other sites on our itinerary will be the Trevi Fountain, made famous by Fellini’s film “La Dolce Vita”.
We will also walk to Piazza di Spagna, with its iconic Spanish steps, and to Piazza Navona with Bernini’s fountain of the Four Rivers. Along the way, we may peek into one church, have a taste of gelato or a bite of pizza al taglio or boost our energy with a shot of caffè espresso.
Walks in Europe guarantees that your day in Rome will be not only enjoyable but also informative. Tours can be private or can be done in a group of a maximum of 8 people.
You can choose a morning or an afternoon departure, both of which end just in time for you to enjoy a snack and a classic aperitivo in one of the typical restaurants or bars in the area.
