Guided Walking Tour In Rome

Walk the streets of Rome without going to any museum, church or gallery! Enjoy local life, street artists, grab Italian street food, take photos and discover Rome to the fullest!

Day In Rome is a fabulous introduction and a chance to become orientated with Rome’s often confusing complex of ancient streets.

Rome is a city of romance, charm, tragedy, and entertainment. It has an ancient history that spans more than 2,500 years, some of which can still be seen today. Our 3 hour guided walking tour in Rome will take you back to the city’s great Roman Empire times.

Our experienced guide will take you along the ancient streets to see some of Rome’s most famous historical sites. You will also learn all about the history of the empire, including secrets and legends of Roman culture.

Day In Rome walking tour is by far the best way to learn the ins and outs of the city, its people, and its charm. We start in the city center at the Piazza Venezia, which marks the start of the Via dei Fori Imperiali.

You will continue by walking along this famous street, admiring the Roman Forum and the Colosseum along the way. Our friendly guide will tell you stories of the city, its history and even some of its secrets while you admire the grandeur of this ancient street, which was built for Benito Mussolini.

You will then walk along Via del Corso, which cuts through the center of Rome. This ancient street runs from the Piazza del Popolo south to Piazza Venezia.

On the way, you will get the chance to see Europe like a local, passing by painters, musicians, and other streets artists. The pedestrian street is also home to immersive landmarks, like the church of San Carlo al Corso, the church of San Marcello al Corso, Piazza Colonna and the Oratory of Santissimo Crocifisso.

Missing the monumental Spanish Steps on any Rome guided tour is a definite no. Spanish Steps is one of the last stops on our Day In Rome tour, with a climb to the top being a must.

The last stop on our 5-hour walking tour of Rome is the magnificent Trevi Fountain, which is one of the world’s most famous fountains. Standing at over 26 meters high, this incredible fountain was designed by architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Pietro Bracci in 1762.

Walks in Europe guarantees that your day in Rome will be not only enjoyable but also informative. Tours can be extremely intimate, where we will pick you up right at your hotel, or can be done in a group of a maximum of 8 people.

You can choose a morning or an afternoon departure, both of which end just in time for you to enjoy a snack and a classic aperitivo in one of the typical restaurants or bars in the area.
