Giada was our guide for the Duomo, the Baptistry and the Accademia Gallery tour.  Due to a very heavy rainstorm that morning causing almost all tours to be delayed, we were unable to tour the Duomo.  But we were given tickets for "skipping the line" to the Duomo which were good for 3 days. Giada was friendly and welcoming.  Her knowledge was so impressive that I learned many facts that I hadn't known though I had visited the Baptistry twice before over a period of 20 years. She was fantastic!! I will recommend Get Your Guide tours to everyone I know.  It is well worth the cost though the cost is far from outrageous. The small group tours are the way to go! Anne M.

We were in Florence beginning of September 2026 and booked several guided tours with Walks in Europe . We were very satisfied with the quality of their services, particularly our guide Frederica in Duomo . She was very knowledgeable , gave us excellent insight into Florence history. Our guide was great! We somehow ended up being the only ones on the tour, it was perfect. We got to be first in line to the Duomo Basilica (by accident) and therefore, the first ones into the church. Our time was a 9am tour. Definitely recommend that, especially in summer (June -Sept). Go a little before the meeting time to look around the little “farmer’s market- at least it was there when we visited). We saw David and learned some interesting facts about the statue. Our tickets included the Bell Tour. I am NOT in shape and can say there were parts that were more difficult but well worth it. Whoever designed it, made stopping points in the perfect spots!
