Arzu Tutuk didn’t build this company from a boardroom. She built it from the cities themselves starting as a solo guide in Istanbul, learning what a great experience actually requires from the ground up. That knowledge, and the standard it set, is what Walks in Europe is still held to today.
What started as a small network of expert guides has grown into a five-country European operation: 600 licensed local guides across Italy, France, Greece, Spain, and Turkey, delivering around 140,000 travelers a year. The scale has changed. The standard hasn’t.

I run Walks in Europe, a ground operator covering Italy, France, Greece, Spain, and Turkey, built specifically for people who arrange travel on behalf of others. Nearly a decade in, we have 600 guides across five countries, 20 team members working remotely, and around 140,000 travelers a year. I’m an engineer from Turkey who built this from Estonia and Spain, which probably explains both the systems thinking and the affection for southern Europe.
I’m an art historian and a licensed guide based in Florence, where I’ve had the privilege of sharing the city’s history, art, and culture with travelers from around the world. At Walks in Europe, I turn art and history into stories guests genuinely remember, tailoring every experience to the people in front of me. Over the years, I’ve built close relationships with guides across Italy, and that trusted network helps us deliver the same high standard of experience wherever our guests travel.
I’m Venetian, born and bred, and a licensed guide with more than two decades of experience exploring this remarkable city. I know Venice the way you only can if it has been your home—the hidden corners, the quiet shortcuts, and the stories behind its most iconic places. At Walks in Europe, I run the Veneto region, bringing local knowledge, warmth, and a sense of humor to every experience, so every tour feels less like a lesson and more like a day spent with a friend.
Greece and Turkey share something rare — a layered, intertwined history that makes travelling between them feel like turning the pages of the same extraordinary book. As Country Manager for both destinations at Walks In Europe, I oversee everything it takes to run two countries well: our teams, our finances, our banking relationships, and the careful operational planning that keeps two culturally rich programmes running in harmony.
As a finance and M&A professional from Estonia, I enjoy understanding both the details of a business and the bigger picture behind them. At Walks in Europe, I turn complex challenges into clear structure and long-term strategy, helping the business grow with confidence. I believe the best decisions come from combining analytical thinking with creativity, curiosity, and a focus on what matters most.
Behind every well-run organisation is someone who makes sure the right things happen at the right time. As Admin Manager and Chief of Staff at Walks In Europe, I work at the centre of the business — partnering closely with the founder on strategic priorities, while staying equally connected to every team across our destinations. From Italy to France and Spain, I’m the thread that runs through the whole company, keeping communication clear, operations smooth, and people supported.
I sit at the intersection of what we offer and how we bring it to market, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. As Channel and Product Manager at Walks In Europe, I work directly with the founder and across every destination team, translating what happens on the ground in Italy, France, and Spain into products and partnerships that connect with the right guests. I’m motivated by the challenge of building something that’s both beautifully designed and commercially strong.
I help keep communication, content, and day-to-day operations running smoothly across Walks in Europe. I also manage invoicing, ensuring our partners receive one simple, streamlined invoice for services across all five countries. I enjoy bringing structure to the details while keeping the bigger picture in mind. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me reading, exploring nature, or spending time at the piano.
