Cookies

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They can remember choices, support website functions and help measure website use. Information associated with cookies may include browser identifiers and website activity and is not necessarily anonymous. First-party cookies relate to the website domain you visit; third-party cookies relate to other domains providing services or content.

Necessary and optional cookies

We offer the cookie choices described here to visitors worldwide.

Necessary cookies support essential website functions and remember your cookie choices. They cannot be switched off through our cookie banner. Other cookie categories are optional. Depending on their category, optional cookies support additional features, analytics, reliable content delivery or advertising.

You can accept or reject optional cookies, or choose individual categories, through the banner. Optional cookies are controlled by the choices you make. Simply continuing to browse does not mean that you have agreed to them. Open Consent Preferences to see the categories and available cookie details, including descriptions and durations.

Analytics and advertising

Optional analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Hotjar, help us understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics uses cookie identifiers and information about website interactions to distinguish visits and sessions and produce usage reports. This information is processed by Google and may constitute personal data. Google Analytics and Hotjar cookies are controlled by your analytics cookie choice.

Optional advertising cookies support advertising measurement and marketing features. They are controlled by your advertising cookie choice. You can allow analytics cookies without allowing advertising cookies.

For information about Google’s data practices, see Google’s Privacy Policy. Google also provides an optional Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies and booking

Consent to optional analytics or advertising cookies is not a requirement for requesting a booking. A booking function you choose to use may need cookies to maintain information during the booking process. Blocking every cookie in your browser, including cookies needed for that function, may prevent it from working. This is different from rejecting optional cookies in our banner.

Changing or withdrawing your consent

Select the floating Consent Preferences button to reopen the cookie settings. Change the optional categories you allow and save your choices. You can withdraw your consent this way at any time. The page may reload to apply a change, so save any work in progress before changing your choices.

You can also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Browser controls are separate from the choices in our banner. Blocking all cookies may affect functions that require them. See your browser’s help section for instructions.
