Bilbao Walking Tours

Pintxos,
Old Streets
& the Spirit of Bilbao

Bilbao reveals itself slowly: over a pintxo at the bar, along the streets of the Casco Viejo, and beside a river that tells the story of a city transformed.

The Casco Viejo is a natural place to begin, with narrow streets opening onto busy squares, traditional shops, and bars where locals gather throughout the day. Along the Nervión River, another side of Bilbao comes into view.

Food brings these different sides of the city together. Move from bar to bar over pintxos and local wines, discover the customs behind them, or go deeper into Bilbao’s history and culture on a small-group or private experience shaped around the city.

Come for the pintxos. Leave with a taste for Bilbao itself.

Our guide Marco was fantastic! He presented the complex history of the Medici family in an educational story format. Learned the relationship of the family to Michelangelo and his sculptures, which helped round out our understanding of the creation of David. Highly recommend.

Great tour really enjoyed ourselves, Our guide was friendly and professional and shared a lot of additional knowledge well worth the time. Please note there are delays getting in to see David at academia as a result of the museums new policies

Sarah was extremely informative. She answered questions thoroughly and made the walk very interesting. If you are even slightly interested in the Medici family and their lasting impact on Florence you must book her!

The tour was great. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, and the scope of the tour gave us a good understanding of Florentine history and layout, which gave us the confidence to explore further later in our stay. Highly recommend this tour.

Giada was our guide for the Duomo, the Baptistry and the Accademia Gallery tour. Due to a very heavy rainstorm that morning causing almost all tours to be delayed, we were unable to tour the Duomo. But we were given tickets for "skipping the line" to the Duomo which were good for 3 days. Giada was friendly and welcoming. Her knowledge was so impressive that I learned many facts that I hadn't known though I had visited the Baptistry twice before over a period of 20 years. She was fantastic!! I will recommend Get Your Guide tours to everyone I know. It is well worth the cost though the cost is far from outrageous. The small group tours are the way to go! Anne M.

We were in Florence beginning of September 2026 and booked several guided tours with Walks in Europe . We were very satisfied with the quality of their services, particularly our guide Frederica in Duomo . She was very knowledgeable , gave us excellent insight into Florence history. We highly recommend Walks in Europe as your guide.

Our guide was great! We somehow ended up being the only ones on the tour, it was perfect. We got to be first in line to the Duomo Basilica (by accident) and therefore, the first ones into the church. Our time was a 9am tour. Definitely recommend that, especially in summer (June -Sept). Go a little before the meeting time to look around the little “farmer’s market- at least it was there when we visited). We saw David and learned some interesting facts about the statue. Our tickets included the Bell Tour. I am NOT in shape and can say there were parts that were more difficult but well worth it. Whoever designed it, made stopping points in the perfect spots! It was like they just knew ;).
