Arzu Tutuk didn’t build this company from a boardroom. She built it from the cities themselves starting as a solo guide in Istanbul, learning what a great experience actually requires from the ground up. That knowledge, and the standard it set, is what Walks in Europe is still held to today.
What started as a small network of expert guides has grown into a five-country European operation: 600 licensed local guides across Italy, France, Greece, Spain, and Turkey, delivering around 140,000 travelers a year. The scale has changed. The standard hasn’t.

Arzu started as a tour guide in Istanbul and built Walks in Europe from there: one city, one guide, one standard at a time. Nearly a decade on, she runs a five-country operation. She remains hands-on across the business because she knows exactly what good looks like. She learned it herself.
Chiara is an art historian and a licensed guide in Florence, and the face of Walks in Europe in the city. She turns art and history into stories guests actually remember, and tailors every tour to the people in front of her. She knows every guide in Italy, and they know her. That network is how one standard holds across an entire country.
Silvia is Venetian, born and bred, and a licensed guide with more than two decades on the city’s stones. She knows Venice the way you only can if it raised you: the secrets, the shortcuts, the stories behind the stories. She runs the Veneto region with the charm and quick humor that turn a tour into a day out with a friend. The kind who happens to know everything.
Dilek runs two of our busiest markets, Istanbul and Athens, side by side: the teams, the finances, the banking relationships, and the operational planning that keep two culturally rich programs moving in harmony. She’s stewarding the places that shaped civilization itself, and she treats the responsibility exactly that seriously.
Triin reads a business the way some people read a room: fast, and to the bottom of it. A finance and M&A expert from Estonia, she grasps the details and the model behind them, almost before you’ve finished explaining. She turns that into structure, strategy, and a clear-eyed view of the long game. Sharp, creative, quietly witty: she’s the one who makes the big goals add up.
Anna is the thread that runs through the whole company. As Chief of Staff and Admin Manager, she works at the center of the business. She is close to the founder on the big strategic calls, and just as close to every team from Italy to France to Turkey. Communication stays clear, operations stay smooth, people stay supported: that’s Anna’s doing. Fluent in four languages, happiest on a hike or at a loud concert, and never, ever without a spreadsheet.
Ozan works where the product meets the market. He works closely with the founder and with every destination team, turning what happens on the ground in Italy, France, Spain, Greece, and Turkey into products and partnerships built for the right guests. A background in global affairs gives him the wide lens; a writer’s eye and a pull toward the outdoors keep him curious. Every time, he’s after the same thing: something beautifully designed and commercially sharp.
Liisa is the kind of assistant who turns out to be much more than one. She keeps communication, content, and correspondence moving. She also manages invoicing, so the single, clean invoice that partners get across five countries is, in practice, her work. Detail-driven but never lost in it, she’s grounded off the clock by books, nature walks, and a piano.
