Athens: Acropolis & Ancient Agora Tour with Optional Museum

Discover the Acropolis and Ancient Agora with a licensed guide and uncover the stories, ideas, and daily life that shaped the city. With pre-reserved tickets for both sites included, visit two of Athens’ most important archaeological landmarks in one guided experience.

Begin at the Acropolis, where temples and monuments tell the story of Athens at the height of its influence. Stand before the Parthenon and see the Erechtheion, Temple of Athena Nike, and Propylaea as your guide brings their stories to life through the myths, ideas, and events behind them. Along the way, gain a deeper sense of what these monuments meant to the people who built and used them more than 2,000 years ago.

Make your way toward the Ancient Agora, where the monumental world above gives way to the everyday life of ancient Athens. Once the center of political, commercial, and social life, the Agora was where citizens gathered, debated, traded, and went about their daily lives. Walk through the archaeological site and see the Temple of Hephaestus, one of Greece’s best-preserved ancient temples. Your guide reveals the Agora’s connection to the development of Athenian democracy.

The guided part of your experience concludes at the Ancient Agora after exploring both sites with your guide. If you select the Acropolis Museum ticket option, continue independently to the museum after the tour. See original sculptures and archaeological finds from the Acropolis, visit the Parthenon Gallery, and explore the collection at your own pace.

See the Acropolis and Ancient Agora together for a more complete look at ancient Athens, with the flexibility to add the Acropolis Museum tickets to your experience.
