• This guided tour lasts around 2 hours. You will then have approximately 1 additional hour to climb Giotto’s Bell Tower at your own pace using your included ticket.
• This tour is not suitable for pregnant women or those suffering from heart conditions, dizziness, or claustrophobia.
• This tour is not suitable for people with mobility impairments and wheelchair users.
• For safety reasons, children under the age of 7 are not allowed on the Duomo Terraces. Youth ages 7-18 must be accompanied by an adult to climb the Terraces.
• Sandals, shoes with heels and flip-flops, slippers, and clogs, as well as shorts or skirts above the knees, are not allowed inside the Cathedral. Please bring a scarf to cover up before entering.
• You may be refused entry if you fail to comply with the cathedral’s dress requirements.
• Please note that backpacks of any size or dimension and bags designed to be worn on the back are not allowed.
• Please kindly consider that unannounced renovation work may occur during the off-season, and crowds are expected during the high season.
• The baptistery is currently undergoing restoration of the vault’s mosaics.
• This tour will have a maximum of 14 travelers.

• Please note that access to the Terraces requires climbing 150 steps (no lift) through narrow passages. The height of the Terraces is 30 meters (98 feet).
• Florence can be very warm in the summer. Please be advised that this tour includes portions that are outside and could be in the full sun. Please bring a hat, small umbrella, or sunscreen if you are sensitive to the sun.
• Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
• Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
• Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
