Travel News of the Month

It seems like the trend for train travel is increasing in some European countries as a more sustainable way to travel. For example, at the beginning of June 2023, the French government announced that they would be banning flights between towns that can be reached by train in under two and a half hours. With this new change, railway companies around Europe have been working on making their services more convenient for locals and tourists. The extensive infrastructure of railway travel in Europe provides a unique opportunity to explore the continent. To learn about train travel in Europe check out this article from the Independent.

  4. Grab a few snacks for the flight. Having some options to snack during long flights makes a difference. It helps combat the hunger in between meals.

Navigating Local Cuisine: A Foodie’s Guide

Delight your taste buds with our tips on savoring the best local flavors without missing out on any culinary delights during your travels.

This month’s favorite local spot comes from Paris. Nestled in the heart of the historic Île de la Cité, just a short stroll from Notre-Dame, Le Saint Régis offers a quintessential Parisian dining experience. This traditional French bistro is renowned for its warm ambiance, classic decor, and menu that showcases delicious French cuisine. Whether you’re craving coq au vin, duck confit, or a delightful selection of cheeses, Le Saint Régis provides an authentic taste of Paris.

Enjoy the intimate atmosphere and, if the weather permits, opt for a table on the outdoor terrace for a view of the charming surroundings. It’s an ideal spot to savor both the culinary delights of France and the historical charm of the Notre Dame neighborhood.
