- Acqua Alta (High Tide) in Venice can cause delays in entering the Basilica. Additionally, the religious authority may decide to suspend skip-the-line priority, especially around the months of October, November, and December.
- This tour has two parts, you can only climb the terraces if you choose the correct option
- Access to the upper part of the Basilica (Museum and Terrace) is steep and at times uneven. Choose the option without the terraces if the climb will be challenging.
- St. Mark’s Basilica is sometimes closed to visitors at short notice.
- As St. Mark’s Basilica is a holy place, people are asked to wear clothing that covers the shoulders and knees
- Backpacks or large bags are not allowed inside St. Mark’s Basilica

We meet in Saint Mark’s Square near the waterfront by the two large columns. Our guide will be under the one with the winged lion on top. Your guide will have a signboard that says, “Walks In Europe”.
